Importing your vehicles by pasting your vehicle data
Start by clicking Import.

Select your dealership.

Select your location. (optional)
Choose Paste Data for your import method.
Select your vehicle type. You can choose between: Autodetect based on year, New, Used or Loaner.

Next paste in your vehicle data. You must include the VIN and you can also include the Stock and Color.
Be sure to put each vehicle on a separate line and use a comma to separate the VIN, stock and color. Do not include headers.
VIN only example:
1HGCM82633A004352
All columns example:
1FTFW1EF1EKE12345,SRB10027,Dark Onyx
Some optional columns example:
1G1BE5SM9K7123456,,Mist Gray

When you are finished pasting in your data, click Next.
Ensure your data is in the correct column and correct any invalid entries in red.
Hover on any invalid entry for more details and click on any field to edit it.

You can also change the vehicle type during this step.

Once you’ve finished reviewing your data, click Next.
During this step you will review the manufacturer colors that didn’t automatically match with a standard color.
For example:
The manufacturer color Platinum Graphite would need to be matched with the standard color Gray.

When you’re finished matching the manufacturer colors with standard colors, click Finish.
Depending on how many vehicles you are importing, you will either get a message detailing your successful imports or that your vehicles are being processed. Once your import is finished being processed, you will get an email with the results once importing is complete.

Importing your vehicles by uploading a CSV or Excel File
Start by clicking Import.

Select your dealership.

Select your location. (optional)
Choose Upload CSV or Excel file for your import method.

Select your vehicle type. You can choose between: Autodetect based on year, New, Used or Loaner.

Click Upload a file or simply drag and drop your file into the designated area.

Files must include a VIN column and optionally Stock and Color columns as well.
Be sure to include headers for each column.
You can also download the template to help you get started.
When you are finished adding your file, click Next.
Ensure your data is in the correct column and correct any invalid entries in red.
Hover on any invalid entry for more details or click on any field to edit it.

Start by clicking Import.

Select your location. (optional)
Choose Paste Data for your import method.

Select your asset type. You can choose the Asset Type column included in pasted data which means that you will define the asset type in a column of pasted data. You can also set a specific asset type for all of the assets in your import.
The list of accepted asset types includes: ATV, Boat, Heavy Machinery, Other (Not included in the list), Personal Watercraft, RV, Tractor, Trailer, Utility Vehicle, Vehicle.

Please note: If you select vehicle as your asset type you should follow the instructions for importing your vehicles by pasting your vehicle data.
Next, paste in your asset data. You must include the Asset ID and if you selected “Asset Type column included in pasted data” then you must include Asset Type as well. You can also include Stock, Year, Make, Model and Color.
Be sure to put each asset on a separate line and use a comma to separate the Asset ID and other columns by a comma. Do NOT include headers.
Asset ID and Asset Type example:
SUN30987K324,Boat
All columns example:
FSH55667J525,Boat,SRB10027,2009,Sea Ray,SPX 210 Outboard,Ice Blue
Some optional columns example:
WAK11223H223,Boat,,2015,,,Mist Gray

When you are finished pasting in your data, click Next.
Ensure your data is in the correct column and correct any invalid entries in red.
Hover on any invalid entry for more details or click on any field to edit it.

You can also change the asset type during this step.

Once you’ve finished reviewing your data, click Next.
If you included colors, you will review the manufacturer colors that didn’t automatically match with a standard color in this step.
For example:
The manufacturer color Platinum Graphite would need to be matched with the standard color Gray.

When you’re finished matching the manufacturer colors with standard colors, click Finish.
