First, log in to Vinpoint.
Select the vehicle you want to view. Once the vehicle is selected, the card will turn orange and the vehicle details panel will open from the left side.
On the panel you will find all of the details for the vehicle. First you’ll see its year, make, and model followed by the dealership, location, scan accuracy and key performance indicators.
Scroll down to view the vehicle's Summary section.
To edit the vehicle’s information click Edit.
Once you’re finished making changes, click Save.
Continue scrolling down to view the vehicle's DMS Integration section.
Continue scrolling down to view the Move Vehicle section.
In the Move Vehicle section you can move the vehicle to a different dealership by clicking in the Select Dealership field and choosing the dealership you’d like to move it to from the list.
Continue scrolling down to view the Tags section.
If you'd like to add a tag, click into the Tags field to view all of the available tags.
You can also filter the list by typing the first few characters of of the tag you're looking for. Once you've found the tag, click on it to add it to the vehicle.
If the tag you're looking for doesn't appear, try searching other terms or ask an administrator to add the tag you need.
To remove a tag from a vehicle, click the “X” icon on the right side of the tag.
Scroll down to view the Activity section. This section includes all relevant vehicle activities such as location updates, adding and/or removing tags, changes to the vehicle’s details, and more.
Some activity entries have the option to view more details. Click Show More to see more information about these entries.
To delete the vehicle, click Delete Vehicle. You'll then be prompted with a message that says, "Are you sure you want to delete this vehicle." Enter the reason for deleting into the field, and click Yes, Delete.
